The Future Perfect Tense is used to describe actions that will be completed before a certain point in the future. This tense gives the sense that the action will be finished at some time in the future. It is formed using ‘will have’ followed by the past participle of the main verb.
Structural Formula:
Subject + will have + past participle + object.
- Affirmative: Sub. + (will/shall) have + Verb(3) + Obj.
- Negative: Sub. + (will/shall) + not + have + Verb(3) + Obj.
- Interrogative: will/shall + Sub. + have + Verb(3) + Obj. + ?
Examples:
- I will have finished my homework by 6 PM.
- She will have left for Paris by next week.
- They will have eaten by the time we arrive.
- He will have completed the project by the end of the month.
- We will have watched the entire series by tomorrow.
